Lauren & Lee Wedding - Aldwark Manor Hotel

Yorkshire Wedding Photographer | Aldwark Manor Hotel | St Giles Church Copmanthorpe

Aldwark Manor is one of Yorkshires premier venues and is one of many reasons as to why Lauren and Lee chose to have their reception here.

Lauren and Lee married at St Giles Church in Copmanthorpe. It was a sheer miracle that their day, although cold, was filled with blue skies and sunshine as the night before brought stormy weather with heavy wind and rain. If I was nervous the night before, I can't imaging how Lauren and Lee felt! But once we got there, everything was perfect.

Lauren arrived in her white vintage Rolls Royce and looked amazing as she stepped out on to the pathway leading to the church, where Lee stood nervously waiting her arrival.

After the reception, Lauren stepped back in to her wedding car and set off towards Aldwark Manor. It was only then I realised that the car might get there before me! After a mad dash back to the car, I took some shortcuts only managing to get to Aldwark a few minutes before the car, allowing me just enough time to prepare for Lauren's arrival.

Before the guests arrived, we took the opportunity to get some greats shots on Aldwark Bridge to the rear of the Hotel. Lauren was completely un-fazed by the wintery weather and made herself ready for every shot we asked of her, not forgetting Lee who helped make this possible, and the results were worth it.

Lauren and Lee made their way back inside to meet and greet their guests before having their Wedding dinner. I took this opportunity to mingle with the guests, taking some great shots of couples and families who'd come from far and wide to be with the happy couple on their big day.

All that was left for us to capture was their first dance, which brought some amazing shots.

I'd like to thank both Lauren and Lee for being so relaxed in their approach to their wedding photography, it really did make a whole world of difference.
