A bit of downtime :-)

It is always nice to get a bit of downtime, grab the photo bag and a passport and go and do some photos for "myself". Such time as that is very precious and gives me time to recharge the batteries :-) I normally mix it in with a bit of work though, normally a bit of commercial work just to keep me in supply of cocktails!!!

Here are are few such shots that I have taken, they will be forming part of my new travel section on the website.

Four Seasons in one Wedding!!!!

I do enjoy winter weddings at Glengorm Castle. Glengorm is on the very northern edge of the Isle of Mull in Scotland, there is nothing to stop any weather system coming in from the Atlantic!! This shot is a perfect example as we shot the wedding photographs for Debbie and Howard on the castle lawns. I never saw the snow cloud come rolling in behind us and it went from glorious sunshine, to this.........!!!

It was a great day though in true Glengorm style, a great thank you to Marjorie, Tom and Pam at the castle for making us all so welcome and of course I will be back up there soon!!! Here are a few more images.

Amy and Ben's Wedding

It was another chance to get some great wedding photographs at Wood Hall again, this time for Amy and Ben. These guys were such good fun to work with and we had a ball all day. Amy is from Australia and had a live laptop link covering the wedding to all her friends that could not travel!! That made it an entertaining (and emotional) occasion for them. The weather was very kind to us and we were able to get some dramatic sky shots. Click on the video below to see a pick of the shots.

Enjoy :-)

Joanne and Steven Silver- Devonshire Arms

Congratulations to Joanne and Steve on their beautiful wedding at The Devonshire Arms in North Yorkshire. It was a great pleasure to capture their wedding photography on what was a wonderful day! Their photographs are available to view online on my website with full coverage from the full day, here are a few of those.
