A great 2012- Happy New Year

The end of a year always gives me time to sit back, have some quiet time and reflect upon the year and remember all the amazing experiences that I have. 2012 certainly was an amazing year with some fantastic clients, I say this every year but it is true. Spending time during what can only be described as one of the most important days in people’s lives is what I love about my job.  I love spending time with people, meeting new people and making people smile, after all that’s makes great pictures.

I continued to make some stunning photos during 2012, ones that when I look at them capture the love and emotion of the day they make me smile! I have continued to surpass the hopes of my clients, giving them a wedding album they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

2012 was the busiest year ever for me and the popularity of my work continues to grow. Word seems to spread very quickly and not just within the UK, my Romantic Italian Wedding packages are still very much in demand with more weddings in Italy for 2012 than ever. 2013 sees me flying out to Sorrento for my first wedding there, I had other requests for New Zealand, Sydney and Santorini- amazing!

So what does 2013 hold for me I hear you say? Well I will have some amazing wedding locations to photograph in, bookings are already increasing over this time last year so it will be another busy year. My Italian wedding photography is definitely in demand and I will be continuing to concentrate on my Yorkshire wedding venues as well. I regularly work at venues such as Wood Hall, Aldwark Manor, Middleton Lodge to name a few and I will continue to deliver stunning wedding photography at all the venues I work in.

Lastly I want to thank all the brides and grooms for 2012, as I write I am at The Deanery for my last wedding for this year. Today was one of the wettest days of the year and has officially made the UK the wettest year on record. I am keeping everything crossed that 2013 will be bathed in sunshine for us all! It has been an amazing year for me and filled with some amazing moments with my clients, thank you for making my job so enjoyable!

Here is to another magical year in 2013. Have a great new year- Thank you.

Paul and Michelle- Engagement Shoot

Harrogate Wedding Photography

It was great to grab a quick half an hour with Paul and Michelle to photograph their engagement shoot. We chose a local park with all the autumn colours which made a fantastic background. Paul and Michelle were fantastic to meet and it was great to hear them making plans for their wedding next year.

Here is the latest wedding video from Dominic who is our resident wedding videographer. Dom shot this one at the stunning Yorebridge House Hotel which is set in the North Yorkshire Dales. Me and Dominic normally photograph and video together but on this day he was out on his own. The video concept of having a short fun video that you can share with your friends is proving very popular with our brides for 2013. If your interested in having a video (even if we are not photographing your wedding) get in touch and we can chat through your wedding plans.

Becky and Tristan's Wedding- Wood Hall

Wedding Photography Yorkshire

It was a fantastic return back to Wood Hall for Becky and Tristan's wedding. This wedding was full of emotion for both of them, especially for Tristan. Their day was blessed with amazing weather and blue skies after what had been a pretty damp period!

Wood Hall is a stunning wedding venue and always makes for a fantastic back drop for wedding photography. It was a fantastic day and the photos will be online as soon as the bride and groom have seen them for themselves.

Here is a few from the day.

Louise and Simon's Wedding

Yorkshire wedding - garden party

I do love the intimate weddings and I have photographed more recently where people are getting a large marque in a place close to home and making the wedding day unique to them. Louise and Simon's day was just that, local, intimate and full of fun with family and friends. They got married at a local church which is across the road from where Louise works as a teacher then back to their village for a great reception at the local cricket club.

We used some local fields as a stop off from the church to get some personal wedding photographs for the happy couple, then back to the party so they could let their hair down!

Here are a few photos from the day.

Emma and Anthony's wedding- Wood Hall

Yorkshire wedding photography

It was a quick flight back from Italy to do the wedding photography for some fantastic friends of mine, Emma and Anthony. It is a true love story how they met and came to be together so it was a very happy ending to see them get married at the stunning Wood Hall.

Here are a few photographs from the day.
