Ed and Lauren Wedding- Wood Hall

Everyone loves winter weddings especially at such a beautiful venue as Wood Hall, Linton. These photographs are a couple taken using flash lighting which is a particular favourite of mine when there is not a lot of natural light available.

It was a wonderful day, packed full of emotion. Ed and Lauren are a perfect match for each other and I look forward to showing their images in the very near future. Once they have seen the images they will be going live online.

Enjoy ;-)

Commissioned Landscape Work

I was recently asked to take a photograph of York Minster at night for one of my clients. They were leaving Yorkshire for a fresh start in London and wanted a dramatic image of one of Yorkshires iconic buildings. Here is the image, the photo does not show the -5 degrees temperatures which made it a bit chilly to say the least!!!

In 2009 I plan to revamp the landscape fine art side of the business, so watch this space!!!

A good start to 2009!!!!

It is always a real achievement to see your work in a magazine, but to make the front cover is something very special!! I was very happy to be the nominated photographer for a charity photo shoot involving the BBC presenter Alex Lovell.

Alex has very strong links with St Peters Hospice in Bristol who do an amazing job meeting the needs of people with life limiting illnesses. St Peters have a chain of clothing shops around the Bristol area that raise money for the hospice. We wanted to do a photo shoot to raise awareness of the striking outfits that can be purchased from charity shops. A Calvin Klein "little black number" was found amongst some other amazing outfits.

I want to thank everyone who was involved in the photoshoot that happened at Orchardleigh House in Somerset, but most of all a huge thank you to Alex!

Sonia and Chris Lockwood

It was a beautiful winters morning at Haworth church which made for some great wedding photographs. We then went on to Holdsworth House in Halifax for the wedding reception and made some great photos playing around with the early evening sky and my lighting kit. I think everyone would agree Sonia looked very beautiful and Chris was very proud!

The wedding photographs are nearly ready to be viewed now and will be going online after Sonia and Chris have returned from Honeymoon and seen them first! Here are a few to get a feel of the day.

Enjoy :-)
