Adam and Janine- Pre Wedding Shoot

It is always quite an honour to be booked by a client who loves your work, checks out your website and books you without meeting you!! Adam and Janine did just that, we had only ever spoken on the phone until last weekend when we met at their wedding venue! They are getting married at Newby Hall next month so we met up to shoot some pre-wedding photos in the grounds of Newby Hall. I look forward to their wedding which should make for some dramatic shots at such an amazing venue.

Having a sort out!!!!

I have been sorting some old files out today and found this picture, I thought I would share it with you. It was taken with Aston and her baby about 18 months ago, and it is one of those pictures that just makes you smile!!! It is great to capture that bond between mother and child- priceless!!

Dave and Tracey- Pre Wedding Shoot

It was great to meet up with Dave and Tracey last week. We used the autumn colours to make some great pre-wedding photographs. They are getting married at The Bridge Inn at Walshford in late October, I look forward to photographing their wedding on that day.

Bainbridge Family Portrait

Family portraits are certainly in demand at the moment as, dare I say it, Christmas is not that far away!!! Here is a few photos from a family portrait in Richmond that was take at the lovely Easby Abbey.

Places for family portraits are in demand so if you want to book please call the office as soon as possible. The cut off for xmas will probably be mid November so get your booking is as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

Tom and Usha Chapman- Coventry Cathedral

It was a great trip down to Coventry recently for Tom and Usha's wedding. It was quite a privilege as I had been the wedding photographer at Toms sisters wedding a couple of years ago. The day went very well with a wonderful service at Coventry Cathedral then onto the Guildhall for the reception. Messing around in Bristol!

Yesterday I found myself down in Bristol shooting with some friends and Sarah the model. The day was predominantly to try new ideas and techniques without the pressure and timescales of a commercial shoot. It refreshes the way that you work and gave me a chance to think of new ideas and poses that will not only work for a portrait but equally as well for a wedding.

Here is one image from the day, shot in a bar at lunchtime (always enough time to grab a Peroni!!), it was lit with natural light in a really dark room- I love it!! Some more photos will be posted later on.

Nina and Andy Grayshon Wedding

I was spoilt with the lighting at the Bolton Abbey Priory Church at Nina and Andy's wedding recently. I love the vestibule area of the church which has some high windows that lets the light cascade around. It was a short trip to the Devonshire Arms for the wedding reception and some more cool photos around the area of the hotel. We all had a great day and I am currently working through the photographs to present them to Nina and Andy very soon. Once they have seen them I will upload them to the client area.
