Jennifers's Bump and Baby!

Jennifer is my PA, the person who many of my clients have had the pleasure to speak to and discuss your wedding plans! Jennifer has taken some time off to focus on the preparation for her first baby. We wish her every happiness, before she left she wrote a few words which are below......

"Most of you will have had an email from me at some point during the organisation of your wedding or portrait. However the time has come for me to take some time out for maternity leave. It is great to keep in contact with all our couples throughout the planning of their photoshoot, and I always wait in anticipation to see the amazing pictures. I will be keeping an eye on these in the Client Area and wish you all the best for the future."

Gemma & John Leeson- Pre-Wedding Shoot

Gemma and John are due to get married at the Bridge Inn in Walshford later this year. We met up recently to shoot a pre-wedding photoshoot and finalise plans for the day. They make a great couple and I look forward to photographing their wedding.

A bit of time out!!

It has been quite a busy couple of months so when my mate asked me if I fancied a few days sailing up on the west coast of Scotland, there could only have been one response- Yes!!!

We took 5 days to sail around the Isle of Mull and some of the other outer islands. The weather was stunning, bright sunny days and a good wind to push us along. We sailed with dolphins and sailed along with a basking shark no more than four feet off the side of the boat!!

Attached is a small video that shows what I get up to when I am not behind the camera. We were just off Ardnamurchan Point which is the most westerly part of the UK (so I am told!) and only a few miles offshore from Glengorm Castle on the Isle of Mull. Glengorm Castle is one of my regular wedding venues that I photograph at so it was fun to give them a wave as I sailed by!!

Enjoy ;-)

Jillian & Damien Bechelli- Italy Wedding

It was another trip last week to the amazing Villa San Crispolto in the heart of Tuscany and Umbria. The setting of Marco's Romantic Italian Weddings just cannot be beaten and you never get tired of returning to such a beautiful part of Italy. Jillian and Damien had chosen the church of Santa Maria Nuova, which is set just outside the walls of Cortona amongst the rolling Tuscan Hills.

It was a warm welcome by Jillian and Damien and all their Scottish families, this set the scene for a fantastic day, some fantastic wedding photographs, kilts and all!!!!

Daz & Bex- Wedding in Cornwall

Last week I took the great trip to just short of Lands End to photograph Daz and Bex. These guys are not only clients but very good friends of mine and it was a real pleasure to photograph their wedding. We had an amazing fun day and got some amazing photos on the beach and in their trusty VW camper van called "Sherbie"!!!

The wedding was at the lovely Old Coastguard Hotel in Mousehole, Cornwall which is only a few miles away from Lands End. The venue makes a perfect wedding venue that lends itself to get some stunning wedding photography. The views at the hotel were amazing, straight out to sea, so I could not resist playing around with the flashes down on the beach!!! ;-)

Liz and Matthew Rees- Italy Wedding

It has been a busy few weeks buzzing back and forth from Italy. It is always a pleasure to return to Villa San Crispolto and work with Marco from Romantic Italian Weddings. This trip for the wedding of Matthew and Liz was no exception. The Cathedral of Cortona is one of the most amazing church venues and the welcome of the Italians is always second to none. Matthew and Liz enjoyed a spectacular day with their families and it was great to be part of that day.

The main photos will be in the Client Area soon, here are a few from the day.
