It is always challenging to photograph teenagers as they want something fun and funky, rather than the more traditional family portrait! I was invited up to a farm in the Yorkshire Dales last week with a brief to photograph just that!!
I took a new piece of kit for my flashes with me that I wanted to play with. I set off for a walk around the farm to find some textured walls, corrugated iron, anything to give a funky dramatic background. Add that to some cool lighting and we not only got some amazing photos, but we had some very happy teenagers!!!
