Natalie and Ryan- Wynyard Hall
I love wedding venues with loads of architecture and character, Wynyard Hall delivers everytime!!! I was spoilt for choice for wedding photographs last weekend during Natalie and Ryan's big day. We were dodging thunder and lightening storms to get some wonderful external photographs, then when the heavens did open we were running back inside!

Thanks to everyone on the day, as usual we were very well received and had a great time with all the guests. I certainly had a great time and some great photos have been captured. The remainder of the images will be loaded into the Client Area to view once Natalie and Ryan have seen them upon their return from honeymoon.
Here are a few to wet the appetite!!!....

Rebecca and Sam Magee- Pre-Wedding Shoot
Rebecca and Sam are due to get married at Aldwark Manor Hotel later in the year. They asked for a pre-wedding photo shoot in preparation for the wedding. We shot the images in the grounds of the church at Aldwark which has a lovely setting. The shoot worked very well to get a feel for the style of wedding photography that we will shoot on the day.

Pet Portraits
I get asked quite a lot for great fun photos of the family pets. Here is a day out with Max by the seaside! He loves the water, runs around like a loon then then when he gets home spends the rest of the night having puppy dreams.
Pet portraits can be done at anytime throughout the year using back drops such as the seaside, woods, anywhere. Give me a call to book your pet in for a portrait session :-)

Unfortunately on the day I forgot my underwater camera for the all action head under shot!!!!

Photo Training
I do get asked quite often to do training for photographers as everyone seems to have a camera these days!! It has always been on my "to-do" list to set something up and running! I decided to gather a few people who had been asking for some time and we all headed off to play around with some flashes! It was a huge success and dates are now being set to run some courses for budding photographers to learn how to get to grips with their camera and take their photos to the next level.
The dates will be published on the new website so please keep checking in to see availability. Here is one image from the other day working with Dom, it was shot on a Canon 50D and one flash on a bright and sunny day!!
I will post some more images from the days shoot soon.

Natalie and Ryan- Pre Wedding Shoot
As the wedding season starts to take hold and I get busier and busier, it has been nice to get out to shoot some pre-wedding shots. Natalie and Ryan are getting married soon at Wynyard Hall and have asked me to do their wedding photography. These photos were shot in a local park to them, we had a great time and played around with some fun shots towards the end!
Enjoy ;-)

A bit of downtime :-)
It is always nice to get a bit of downtime, grab the photo bag and a passport and go and do some photos for "myself". Such time as that is very precious and gives me time to recharge the batteries :-) I normally mix it in with a bit of work though, normally a bit of commercial work just to keep me in supply of cocktails!!!
Here are are few such shots that I have taken, they will be forming part of my new travel section on the website.

Four Seasons in one Wedding!!!!
I do enjoy winter weddings at Glengorm Castle. Glengorm is on the very northern edge of the Isle of Mull in Scotland, there is nothing to stop any weather system coming in from the Atlantic!! This shot is a perfect example as we shot the wedding photographs for Debbie and Howard on the castle lawns. I never saw the snow cloud come rolling in behind us and it went from glorious sunshine, to this.........!!!

It was a great day though in true Glengorm style, a great thank you to Marjorie, Tom and Pam at the castle for making us all so welcome and of course I will be back up there soon!!! Here are a few more images.

Amy and Ben's Wedding
It was another chance to get some great wedding photographs at Wood Hall again, this time for Amy and Ben. These guys were such good fun to work with and we had a ball all day. Amy is from Australia and had a live laptop link covering the wedding to all her friends that could not travel!! That made it an entertaining (and emotional) occasion for them. The weather was very kind to us and we were able to get some dramatic sky shots. Click on the video below to see a pick of the shots.
Enjoy :-)
