Steve & Sally- Pre-Wedding Shoot Rudding Park

I met Steve and Sally at Rudding Park recently for their pre-wedding shoot. The weather was not good so we decided to use the corridors of the venue, staircases and other areas to get some really cool shots. You can see how close they are together and that really shows in the photos. I look forward to the wedding day later in the year.

Debbie & Rob- Pre-wedding Shoot

I met Debbie and Rob on a very rainy day to do their pre-wedding shoot. We had planned to meet at their wedding venue Jervaulx Abbey in North Yorkshire to get some photographs, unfortunately mother nature dictated otherwise! We headed off to Swinton Park instead which is always a great venue for a pre-wedding shoot.

Attached are a few photos from the shoot, as promised to Debbie and Rob we were able to make a bit of sunshine in the images, you would never guess it was absolutely throwing it down! ;-)

Clare and Phil- Pre-wedding shoot

It was great to meet up with Clare and Phil recently. We used the time to have a pre-wedding shoot and finalise their wedding photography plans. They are getting married at Wood Hall near Wetherby next month. I do enjoy photographing at Wood Hall and look forward to working with Clare and Phil on their wedding day.

Mike and Justine- Pre-wedding shoot Byland Abbey

Mike and Justine are due to be married later in the year at the Abbey Inn which is next to Byland Abbey in North Yorkshire. We met up for a pre-wedding shoot which is a great way to get to know the client ahead of the wedding day. I do enjoy photographing at such an amazing venue and I will look forward to their wedding. They make a great couple, always laughing and having fun, I am sure their wedding day will be a very special event.

Amy & Ben- Australia Wedding

The photos are now online for Amy & Ben's Wedding. It was an amazing day with the wedding held on the beach in Adelaide and the reception at the Seacliff Beach Hotel. I look forward to meeting them in London next week to start to plan their wedding album covering both the UK and Australia wedding.

Here is one of my favourite shots from the day and the remainder are available online to view in my Client Area.

Goodbye 2009, hello 2010!!!

I cannot believe how fast 2009 has gone, the year started quiet due to the recession with everyone feeling the pinch. Despite a slow start bookings soon came in and the year went from strength to strength, making 2009 an exceptional year. The year also saw a new web design and the growth in weddings abroad led to the new site going “.com” receiving very good feedback from across the world. It was a pleasure for the website to be acknowledged by a national magazine who featured it in a two page feature article.

I never anticipated such a demand for my work from around the world. As I write this I am just about to board a plane back to Heathrow from Hong Kong the final leg of on my Round the World trip. The trip began on in December and I was fortunate enough to photograph a wedding in Australia during this trip. 2010 will be seeing more weddings in Italy for Romantic Italian Weddings and further weddings in Australia and New Zealand in 2011.

Finally, I would like to thank all my clients to date, I have enjoyed working with you all in 2009! I thought I would share my final memory of 2009 in this video of the Sydney Harbour New Year fireworks – enjoy!!

Happy New Year

Sydney Landscape

There is something quite special about the Sydney skyline, it has always captured an appeal for me. I took some time out whilst I was there to photograph some stock photos for my Travel section of the website. I like the steel structure of the harbour bridge and wanted to include this as part of the image. The image works well in colour but also has a mysterious feel to it in mono-chrome. These photos are available for sale as signed limited edition framed prints, for further information give us a call.

Ambler Family- Australia Portrait

I found myself back on the beach again with my flip flops (I really could get used to this!!) for a family portrait on the beach. Lisa, Neil and their daughters Lauryn and triplets, Ashlyn, Holly and Sophie moved out Australia a couple of years ago. It is amazing to see the different characteristics and personalities between the triplets and I wanted to capture that in the photographs.

Here are a few images from the time on the beach, there were so many others to choose from!!
