Tom and Usha Chapman- Coventry Cathedral

It was a great trip down to Coventry recently for Tom and Usha's wedding. It was quite a privilege as I had been the wedding photographer at Toms sisters wedding a couple of years ago. The day went very well with a wonderful service at Coventry Cathedral then onto the Guildhall for the reception. Here are a few photos from the day and the remainder will be in the client area in the couple of days.

Messing around in Bristol!

Yesterday I found myself down in Bristol shooting with some friends and Sarah the model. The day was predominantly to try new ideas and techniques without the pressure and timescales of a commercial shoot. It refreshes the way that you work and gave me a chance to think of new ideas and poses that will not only work for a portrait but equally as well for a wedding.

Here is one image from the day, shot in a bar at lunchtime (always enough time to grab a Peroni!!), it was lit with natural light in a really dark room- I love it!! Some more photos will be posted later on.

Nina and Andy Grayshon Wedding

I was spoilt with the lighting at the Bolton Abbey Priory Church at Nina and Andy's wedding recently. I love the vestibule area of the church which has some high windows that lets the light cascade around. It was a short trip to the Devonshire Arms for the wedding reception and some more cool photos around the area of the hotel. We all had a great day and I am currently working through the photographs to present them to Nina and Andy very soon. Once they have seen them I will upload them to the client area.

Emily and Katie- Model Shoot Video

It has been very busy recently but I grabbed a day spare to shoot a portrait of Emily and Katie in the studio and on location. The photos are for their portfolio which they are gradually building up. Here are a couple of images and I will put a few more on very soon!!

Mr and Mrs Valentine- Rowton Castle Wedding

It is quite a busy time at the moment and always nice to travel to a different county to do wedding photography at a new venue. Recently I was at Rowton Castle in Shropshire to shoot the wedding of Amy and Ross Valentine. The venue is a very spectacular castle set in its own grounds with plenty of opportunities for some beautiful photographs. In my usual style I wanted to find some alternative locations in the grounds and light the photos with some dramatic flash to deliver some amazing shots! Amy and Ross also had an amazing band that blasted modern tunes out such as Kings of Leon and Snow Patrol. Blasted being the optimum word as my ears are still hurting!!!! ;-)

Mr and Mrs Taylor

Congratulations to Jeremy and Lisa Taylor on their recent wedding which was held at the lovely St Peters Church at East Marton, set in the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales. We were very fortunate with the weather, after dodging an earlier torrential downpour!! After the church service we travelled the short distance to Jeremy's home address where we had a wonderful garden party.

I look forward to meeting Jeremy and Lisa upon their return from honeymoon, here are a few photos from the day.

Mr and Mrs Yules!!

I must thank Jenny and Dominic for their invite to photograph their wedding in Italy. It was the most amazing day, very dramatic, very emotional and one that I will certainly remember! The wedding was held at the Cathedral of Cortona and the reception was at the beautiful Villa San Crispolto.

I am working on the photographs at the moment for when Mr & Mrs Yules return from honeymoon. There was a lot of interest in the photos from friends and family members, so here are few for the moment. I normally only post about 5 images, I couldn't resist a few more so keep scrolling down!!
